LIC - The Biggest Indian Insurance Company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is mass recruiting people as more they have 700 vacancies right now.

LIC - Life Insurance Company LIC Corporation has invited applications for the post of Apprentice Development officer for a number of its branches across the whole india country. The company has 727 posts vacant for different positions.

The (LIC) is India’s largest life insurance company and is owned fully by the Indian Government. It has more than 3000 branches and offices all over the country. It has almost 2048 branches and offices. The LIC has Rs. 8 trillion worth of assets which in dollars would be about $170 billion. The company has a network of around 1.5 million agents to interact with the people in person and convince them to buy a Insurance and other policies.


The Recruitment for the Following Zones

1. Central Zonal Office, Bhopal : 415 posts in 9 Divisional Offices
2. South Central Zonal Office, Hyderabad : 685 posts in 17 Divisional Offices
3. North Central Zonal Office – Kanpur : 718 posts in 12 Divisional Offices
4. East Central Zonal Office,Patna : 614 posts in 9 Divisional Offices
5. Southern Zonal Office, Chennai : 634 posts in 11 Divisional Offices
6. Western Zonal Office, Mumbai : 1072 posts in 18 Divisional Offices
7. Eastern Zonal Office,Kolkata : 713 posts in 11 Divisional Offices
8. North Zonal Office, Delhi : 727 posts in 14 Divisional Offices


Those who are interested can apply online by logging on to LIC’s website. Online registrations have begun on 17th March, 2010 and will go on till 17th April 2010. All students who wants to apply will have to go through a written test which will be conducted on 13th June 2010 on Sunday.
